I grew up in the Midwest as a nerd, a three-sport athlete, and someone with a dream of building a career in sports. Early on, I learned that you can want something deeply, even when you cannot yet see the path, and still find a way forward. My work has crossed research, government, intellectual property, professional sports, nonprofit leadership, and enterprise program management.
Across each space, I have learned how to clarify value, analyze what is working, build systems, manage stakeholders, and position people or organizations for the right opportunities. Through all of it, I learned that doing great work is not enough. The right people have to know that you and your work exist.
You can have the talent, the experience, the idea, or the mission. But if people do not understand who you are, what you offer, and why it matters, opportunity can pass you by. I have watched teammates, colleagues, entrepreneurs, and collaborators do extraordinary work that went unrecognized because it was not visible to the people who could help move it forward.
That is why I built Tigon Professional Services around one principle: visibility is strategic. It is access. It is alignment. It is positioning. It is making your work easier to understand, easier to find, and easier to invest in.
